Xbox and Listening to music?

While playing a video game on your Xbox, do you listen to music, or do you prefer to focus on the sound effects from the title? I prefer listening to the sound effects, especially in games like PUGB, where the slightest sound could indicate an enemy coming up behind you.

Sometimes the sound of a game on Xbox is stressful so what I do generally is to mute the sound of the console while I place a piece of nice music that is comfortable while playing to merge between fan and relaxation.
