Would you be buying a house in a ghost town?

A ghost town is a place which have been deserted for one reason or another. It is deemed to be a place where people are not comfortable living in. Would you buy houses in such a place with the intention things will change years later for you to take advantage of owning lots of properties there?

In my opinion, it is not very profitable if you want to sell or rent it in the future, but if a person, for example, likes such conditions, then you should consider this option because it is usually cheaper than other options.

I can't be able to buy a property in a ghost town no matter how we look at it. It is pretty strange as I can't be able to have a good sleep when such happens. I don't want to be in a place where I feel like I am being hunted.
