I'm pretty excited.
I'm working on developing my first paid community.
I'm a community manager for an established paid community. I get paid to be the community manager. 9 out of 10 paid members remain paid members. The community earns a substantial amount of money. So, I know how possible it is to be successful with a paid community.
Of course, it's not as simple as an XenForo installation. I love XF, but it's not the best for a paid platform. No offense, XF.
I'll be using Circle. I pay around $100 a month to use it on their hosting. A free alternative would be something like Patreon.
My community will focus on the following key benefits to encourage paid membership:
I'll be promoting the community mainly through paid advertising on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. I'll also do heavy social media promotion.
I'm also offering a free online community (using XenForo) for the basics, like discussing the topics and normal forum stuff.
On top of that, I'll continue to post on my blog, which covers to subject.
That's my game plan. I'm excited about it. I almost have one out of three initial courses done, and then I'll be officially launching after I get all three done.
My goal for the first year is to clear $6,000 to $10,000.
I hope to eventually make it a full-time job (with my blogging and consulting assets included).
Feel free to copy me
I'll always be giving away all my tactics here and for free!

- One-on-one consulting (utilizing Loom videos as my response)
- Loom+text-based courses with assignments for course takers
- A private and exclusive weekly newsletter
- Masterclasses or larger and more informative courses
- Zoom meetings once a month for members to discuss their needs
- Interviews with experts in the field on Zoom
- A really interesting topic on the discussion forum every single day
- Multiple channels (nodes/boards) focusing on the niche
- A live chat room
- Networking members together
