Wordpress a CMS

Would you consider wordpress to be a CMS? Some people don't believe that it is a pure CMS...

It is used mainly for blogging, though that's only when you purposely use it for blogging alone.

With a bit of work you can easily transform your WordPress site into something that doesn't even resemble WordPress.

Its a blog software but it can be subsituted for a CMS... those the main core feature is the blog meaning its a blog software haha.

I suppose it's what you define as a CMS. You can make link directories, job sites, download areas etc. all with wordpress.

You can do all that with SMF too doesn't make it a CMS. What ever the software's core feature is, is what sort of software it is

Wordpress = Blog... However, you can mimic it as a CMS fairly easy

How can you make a job site with SMF?????

Wordpress is the ultimate blogging software, which is what it was intended for but I'm glad that it's grown into so much more- it beats Jooomla.

Yeah, I'd have to say it beats Joomla as well.
