wollk's last me?

hey, i heard some k's the other day and i REALY liked them and i want some tey just sound great,the only think thats stopping me from buying them is i that ive been told by a friend that the k's are not very good for rock muisic (which is what i play) and will bend and crack in no time at all.

so,will some k's last me without bending and denting or is my friend right and im just wasting my timi would only use the k's in the studio and live gigs and avedis for practice so if there not in use all the time they should last longer...right?
