However, the new year has started and many people think that this year might be slightly better than the previous one. Taxes are quite important part of any country's economy. So, when it comes to collecting taxes, do you think that the governments of many different countries will increase the taxes?

I cannot talk about other countries but in my home country, taxes are not increasing. The government has reiterated that it will not raise taxes. In the last annual budget, government even promised to cut taxes.

I believe it might be for a better reason to do that.

Actually it's not that easy for government to increase tax rate on their citizens without considering the standard of living in the country.
They haven't and I believe it wont happen.

Well, we can't tell for sure but i feel like the governments of different countries will not increase taxes because of how bad the economy is and how some people are struggling to pay their taxes.
