Why does Discord invite link keep expiring?

My friend's Discord server have been experiencing this issue for a long time now when it comes to his invite link always expiring too soon. He's almost frustrated by having to create a new invite link all the time whenever he wants to invite someone to his serve.

What can be done about this problem? Have still anyone else experienced the same problem with their server invitation link?

He's probably sending out links that are set to expire. He needs to generate a invite code that will never expire. When you generate a invite link, it gives you three options. Two are for a set amount of time for the link to expire, then the third option is so the link never expires.
