There are many companies that have logos and symbols. However, we know that many currencies also have symbols as well. For example, the U.S. Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, United Kingdom Pound, and many other currencies have symbols. Why do some currencies do not have symbols? Why are they important for a Forex trader?

There are so many reasons why currencies have symbols. One of the reasons is for identify sake. The dollar is different from the naira in colour and in symbols. Everyone who sees the dollar recognizes it with it's symbol, likewise other currencies of the world.

Some currencies have symbols that allow them to be simply represented in written form. Symbols allow users to instantly identify which money is being discussed without needing to write out the entire name of the currency. This is especially useful when working with several currencies, as writing the symbol rather than the whole name is much quicker.

Currency needs to have symbol for easy identification because they have developed their stand in forex trading market but currencies that do not have symbol are just coming up to have more values in the market.
