Why can't restoring chat from GBWhatsapp to Official be made possible?

GBWhatsapp is a modded version of the official WhatsApp app which programmers developed to offer more additional features that are not found in the original version. Meta is actively clamping down on GBWhatsapp mods, making it incompatible with smartphones.

Unfortunately, I was among those using the modded GBWhatsapp version and after mine stopped working, even when I had backed up my chats on Google drive, when I downloaded and installed the official WhatsApp, I couldn't restore my old chats.

Is there any workaround to restoring old backup chats from GBWhatsapp to Official WhatsApp?
