If you run a forum, you know sometimes you will land members who stick around for a long time, sometimes as long as your site has been around. I still have friends from old forums I have been a part of, and some that I have run. I have some as friends on Facebook even. I would say I have a few past forum members as friends on facebook, who I've known well over 20 years now. It's crazy to think how long we've stayed in touch. What about you?

My earliest members on my forums are my online friends. When I create a forum, I always make sure to invite this person to join the forum. I had known her since 2015. I met her on a forum and we have remained good friends since then. She has worked for me on multiple jobs. Before corana time, I was paying her about $30-$50 per month to work on my websites

I myself took a break from 2017 - 2022 before I came back to the streaming world but back in 2009 when I opened up my forum, there was one person who joined my forum and we became friends. 14 years later and after bringing the forum back after having to sadly close it in 2017 due to hosting costs rising, we are now together as a couple and we co-own two forums now as well.

I do still know some others that I remember back when I had my forum previously and some of them even kept in contact when I was live streaming and creating video game content as well.

Helena is the longest person I've known on my forum because she was a moderator of the official Zathyus Networks board before that we even had a board we worked on together and we have done various projects together ever since we met.

Knowing someone on a forum is different from being a friend with someone on forums. I have know a lot of people from forums way back in the days of Postloop and The Forum Wheel. I think that I still see some of them online today but it's only few of them. I was friends with the owner of The Forum Wheel Ken Brice. He should be the oldest I've been friends with online.

I've known you since I began joining forums 😂😂. I mean it was as far back as I can remember. The days of Postloop, the times at Forum Wheel, Seoclerks and the rest. I can remember that there a couple of others that I knew years ago too such as @Keibah. I was not surprised to see the poster here and I am happy to see that they are still active and posting.

There's a guy I used to know from Postloop and The Forum Wheel called Alexdoy. He used to be here on Bizdustry too. I just can't tag his name very well but I'm sure to have seen it recently. He's one of best posters or writers that I have know online since 2011. It's a shame that he's no longer actively using forums. I can understand that life happens, I just hope he's alright wherever he's at now.

Oh hi Henry. So good to see you around. Yes I have been around for a while and yes you are one of the very first people I've met online. I'm glad

The good thing about having a good relationship with those you meet online and you have been together working on different projects is that they will always link you up to so many other opportunities they come across as a means where someone can make money from. A lot of people have linked me up like that and I have equally done the same thing for others.

I am happy that you are around the forum communities. It is always a privilege to see that there are people that I met when I joined forums that are still around now. I hope you are doing great and having fun at different forums that you belong?

AnandTech is the forum where I know the oldest person from forums. It's a forum where PC building discussion are held. I've learnt so much about building PC from the forum's discussions. My friend Toby Carvery on the forum have been with me since.
