Who uses instagram to promote their website?

I haven't got an Instagram account, but alot of people do. Do you promote your website on Instagram? or Do you just have a personal account? If you have a personal Instagram at all. If you do promote your website on Instagram, do you get alot of traffic from doing so?

I've tried but unless you're a huge company not a lot of people are going to want to see yet another advertisement on their feed. It's a lot of work because you've got to either take a really nice picture and edit it, or you're going to have to make design a post which can take time and money.

I just have a personal Instagram for friends and family. I think I might be following one or two business accounts from my friend's startups.
