Who uses AdSense or has used it?

I use AdSense.

I've found it to pay very little on a forum unless you do the ads that takeover pages and annoy the living heck out of people. Most will never come back (that's how I usually respond) or install ad blockers.

I use it on my blogs. I make sure that I have control of how the ads are displayed. I typically earn around $150 to $800 a month. It took a while for that though - lot of great content and consistently posting on a weekly basis.

That's impressive. I made around $300 to $500 a month around 2011 on some employment niche blogs. However, it wasn't all AdSense but a combo of it with Indeed Publisher.

It's a big thanks to social media in all honesty.

The blog that earns me that amount has big social media pages around it. My FB page has 20K followers and I have a social group with over 46K members. I promote the articles on both of them. They typically get around 300K to 500K impressions a week. A lot of shares.

A few of the articles go viral here and there and I have big pay days with AdSense. I usually have to post about something controversial for that to happen which I have been trying to do lately.

You just have to play the system.

Too many people fail by activating an ad network and assuming they'll make bank.

It takes work to do anything online. Even if it becomes passive income, you still have to work to create it to get to a degree of becoming passive income.
