When it comes to the kind of contents that you value more in your forum, which one is it between more threads and more replies? With more threads, it means that members would have so much topics to engage in discussion while with more replies, it means that they are really enjoying a particular content.

Which one is it for you?

Both are important. A lot of threads with no replies look as bad as the unavailability of new threads. There should be a good balance between the new thread and as replies on the threads.

Threads are the first posts in a new topic or discussion. They serve as a framework for the discussion and aid in the organization of the forum into specific categories or subjects. Users may have difficulties discovering relevant conversations or understanding where to post their own subjects if threads are not present.

Well I know that once a forum is just created new, they mostly hustle for threads because once there is no thread, it will be hard for members to reply much.

I Believe that the both of them are equally as important as the other, because you do not want to be creating multiple threads without replies and also you do not want limited threads with repititive replies

I think both are important to a forum. To have good forum, they have to be balancing between the thread and replies. When there are no thread for people to replying to in a forum, it's not good thing. Many users can be discourage through that. They should enough thread for people to comment on in a forum.
