For me, I prefer PHP. PHP controls nearly 80% of the world's websites. PHP requires and helps you to learn an entirely new language. Node js tends to be slightly faster buy it still doesn't have enough features to uproot PHP as its developers have expected.

js is more extensive and faster compared to PHP which may make it a more viable choice. However, some programmers prefer PHP because it is easier to pick up than a Node. js and features an integrated database. One is not better than the other.

According to my own point of view, I believe the best for back end web development is PHP. This is because PHP is more easier and it is easy to understand and it make the web more unique and great. I believe it to be the best

Node js is much faster than PHP when it comes to execution speed, if speed is what you require for your application, such as a browser based multiplayer game or a chat application, Node. js is a great choice than PHP.
Node js comes with a web server module ("http"). Node. ... That makes it very, very easy to expose functionality to the web as a plain old HTTP(s) web server whereas with PHP your environment is restricted by the web server configuration.

I think node is is best for back end programming because of its special features. PHP is also a good programming language. Nojde is seems easier to Lear than PHP according to my little programming experience. The special features are very great with very attractive environment..

PHP for me, it's way easier to learn and use, it also got more features, but node is way easier, so it's really up for you, there is not so much difference

PHP being the most popular back-end for most websites in the world is not a fluke and it is because it is actually the best over JS. PHP actually makes it easy to operate a website.

There I really no best stack to choose from in web development, there is only what you want to achieve and what you are comfortable using. Personally I prefer JavaScript though.

I think nodes is the best,it's easier to learn and fast I think PHP is like driving stick and nodes is auto

I will always go for PHP because you can easily download all the website for her through FTP and save it somewhere for a backup. I have never used the second one you mentioned.

I rather go for php since it has all the features compare to node js that is slightly faster, being fast is cool but getting a better result is what matter

To be candid I'm not a website developer so j really can't tell you the best programming language you should use for your back end or front end of your website

I think the best back web development should be the PHP, because everything there seems to be simple and straight forward than the other one.

If you are looking to go into a back end programming then you should know that the most important thing is actually achieving what your client wants and they normally do not bother which program you use to achieve that.
