Which do you prefer between Linux and Windows hosting?

These are two hosting platforms that have different strengths. I understand that Linux hosting is a little bit complex but more adaptible to people who are good in tech.

While windows hosting is suited for people that are not too deep in tech.

From personal experience, which do you prefer?

Though the answer to this question may vary upon an individual requirement because the window system is most used for an individual who needs features such as Microsoft office applications and windows specific software, whereas when it comes to Linux, it is better for websites that require more control of server environment and need features such as root access and reliable uptime. Personally, I prefer windows based on my personal need.
