There has been days that I try to listen to my brain and it led to more tangible success. But I think listening to my heart has led to a more satisfying life and reduced the risk of regrets for me.
So which do you listen to the most: your heart or your brain?

I am usually a very analytical person and I act based a lot on premeditated decisions, so I usually act more with the mind than with the heart, honestly the times I have acted with the heart have not gone so well as when I have thought with the brain carefully :)

I have been known to listen to both my heart and my brain at different times of my life depending on what decision I am faced with making.

I feel as though depending on the kind of situation you are in, it varies as to whether going with your head is a good idea or going with your heart is.

Usually, if I have a gut feeling about something, I also follow that as that never seems to be wrong.

It is actually going to be very difficult for me to eliminate listening to one of them, so I try as much as possible to listen to what my heart tells me and also use my brain to analyse every detail about that to make sure that I take a very good decision. This is because when you work with only one, you are most likely going to make mistake.

It all depends on instances or situations. Anything sympathy, love or punishments, I listen to my heart. Aside that, I listen to my brain and to be precise greatest part of me often listen to my brain. I like being calculative, reason things beyond the box.

Make and take actions in consideration to consequences not for the bond, firm or maybe personal interest involved.

Whenever am making decisions, this saying rings in my mind "Spare the rod and spoil the child"

If you mean heart as in your feelings, no. Our brain is where we get those feelings. Our heart is just a tool to pump blood through our body to make our brains function. So I believe my mind is what I listen to. My feelings and beliefs are in there. The heart just works for us.

Exactly! The heart doesn't think because the whole cognitive process of a human being all happens in the brain. This is why whenever you are thinking, it is your brain that is doing the job and before you make a decision, it is definitely the brain that is going to help you to process everything before you decide.

I use my brain and heart to make decisions. I don't depend too much on rationality and I also do not depend too much on emotions. Whether the brain plays an important part or the heart plays an important part depends on a lot of things but mostly the kind of decision I am trying to make.

Being able to balance the connection between your brain and your heart is something that is always going to be beneficial for you. This is because whenever you end up making a decision, it is going to be something that is well thought of in all possible ramification to make sure that nothing is overlooked.
