Forum performance monitoring involves various tools. Google Analytics is widely used for tracking user engagement, traffic sources, and popular content.

Analyzing user demographics and identifying activity in the forum which carries high engagement most times do helps. Successful forums often makes good use of these insights to enhance user experience and community growth.

I use Google Analytics. It is free and the most accurate analytic tool I have ever used. This tool will show me traffic source, location, device use, time on my site, clicks on my ads, etc. I first started using google analytics for my hubpages account and later I started using it for my websites. I have bene using it for almost a decade.
