When you feel 'done' trying on a website do you pack our things up and move onto another nitche, or do you strive harder to get it up even though you are discouraged?

I am at the point on Zombie Discussion/ALD that I feel like packing it up and calling it quite :/ I have gave it my all, and despite it all the site is currently dead with no signs of activity, and promoting it seems helpless.

How do you deal with this?

If you really like that niche, in your case Zombie Discussion, you shouldn't stop that website. In fact you can actually start a blog in that website and start posting on it every now and then. That way you can do something you're really interested in and people will come to your forums if they find interesting contents or views on your blog.

Well it depends. I know that I can have a poor attention span with things that require too much effort. So, I have structured my websites so that I can work on them occasionally and can leave them for a while if necessary. If you really feel passionate about Zombie Discussions, then keep up the forum- I would, however, question the numbers of people interested in such a niche that are regular online users.

Yeah, I am waiting after November 3rd to decide if I want to keep it up or not. I have a huge zombie walk going on in my state I'm going to try advertising there, I am bound to get some active, local members.
