When is payday for your business?

If you run a business with employees, when is payday usually? Is it on Fridays like with most businesses? Or maybe it's on Sunday or maybe even midweek. Or maybe it's biweekly pay, or I should say ever other week. What is payday for you?

Currently, I have virtual assistants working for me and I pay based on the task completed, and any day could be a pay day. However, when I was running an offline business, first day of the month was the pay day, and in case it was a weekend, the first day of the coming week would be pay day
