Mine would be:

- To get Googoldir.com to PageRank 5.
- To have people regularly wanting links on the site.
- To start ForumSkinz.net
- To start Aanonscripts.com
-To learn PHP/HTML/CSS
- To learn a little design work.
- To start clearing a montly profit from my projects.

I'd have to say my goals are achievable even though they are going to take a bit of effort. I've done a bit of work on the first two so far... :)

What are yours?

This is an interesting Topic Sam

So mine would be:
  • Get 25,000 posts in WebGuruBB
  • Get PR5 for webgurudir.com, coolfacts.in, indianrecipesforall.com
  • Make this my fulltime work.
  • Try my luck in forex
  • Start 2 more websites.
  • Get daily traffic of 1500 on sportsnewscentre.com
I guess it will be somewhat tough to achieve my goals.

Forex is probably the most interesting out of them. I've been reading investment books- although not forex books- since I was 8, so I understand quite a bit about the market. The thing with forex is the vast majority loose money. On top of that, if you're on the wrong side of a trade against someone with a lot of money they can manipulate the market where as you cannot.... Money talks a lot in forex trading just like commodities! Something like options trading may be a better bet because it's less dependent on the amount of capital you have and more about your skill. However firstly you may wish simply to invest in shares/stocks- to gain a greater feel for the market.

As for starting two more websites, what sort did you have in mind xpl0iter?

OK i have 2 main ones - the forum to be near enough self sustaining - in other words regular new posts and threads from all the other members so if i take a day off nobody notices, and to be showing a small income - even if its only £1 a month.

I have loads of other things I want to do but I have to be careful not to overreach - if I try to do too much i make condition worse, and then if I dont reach the goals I feel even more useless. So i will stick with those 2 and anything else achieved will be a bonus.

A self sustaining forum is every forum owners dream and something few achieve. However, if you achieve that you can easily get advertisers onboard. Buysellads would be a good option for you once you've got around 10,000 posts on your forum... :)

The thing i have is ADO was self sustaining before - OK it was far from perfect but it did have a huge number of posts daily. All the old members know it is open - although at the moment they are playing the "its not the real "sphinx" running it paranoia game - I am not chasing them as a good number of them are trouble makers, however I am hopeful that over time the decent ones will come back.

What sort of stats did you used to have and why were you forced to close???

My number one goal is to make the forum gain new members and posts without much effort from me, with all the promoting and such it gets tiring very easily

Its extremely time consuming promoting a forum :p You're basically spending hours on other forums hoping that you make posts that encourage people to sign up to your forum + you have to update all the promotion threads....
