In graphics designing, colour plays a very key role in how your entire work is going to come out in the end. This is why choosing the right colour is very important. The graphics designing software you're working with isn't going to make any difference if your color selection is off.

What's your color preferences like when working on any job?

I have a habit whenever I create graphics to go for the colours purple, light blue, light purple, pink and black for an outline which has become a habit I have had to get out of as not every logo or graphic for a project needs those colours.

I recently created a logo for a project and due to the niche of the project, the colours suited better red and blue with a black outline.

I always feel that what you're working on is going to have a say on which colours you'd be choosing for it. The best colour combination will bring out the best appearance for what you've designed.
