What are the oldest domain hosts/services out there? Like GoDaddy for example, you can buy domains through them. I don't know if they are the oldest one around today, but they've been around for a long time.

What are some of the oldest surviving domain services out there?

The one I used to use is pretty old, HostGator. I believe this was started in 2002. It still seems to be fairly popular as well. I think I know more people who go with this over GoDaddy.

In my opinion, I think GoDaddy seems to be the oldest company providing domain services. I stand to be corrected if I'm totally wrong but this is my contribution to the thread.

A friend of mine also mentioned HostGator to me . He has been using the domain services for a very long time now. It showed that this domain service offering company has been around for quite a long period of time.

It is just interesting for me to know that HostGator has been around for this long. I have used your services before and it was absolutely top-notch even with how cheap it is m

Well , so many comment that I come across on this platform showed that HostGator is probably one of the oldest domain name service provider on the internet. I have not used to this domain name before, but I may try it out soon.

This is something that is going to require a bit of research in order to get it but I think that GoDaddy has actually been around for a very long time and they have been innovative since they have been here.

There are many of them, though GoDaddy stand out from among them. I am new to domain stuff so, I only know few like dynadot, hostgator, and others. Old or new does not really affect domain functionality. Most of those companies that are new into the business are doing well.

I think they should be the oldest as well. I've been hearing about them growing up and they're still existing now. They've proven to be a reliable provider because a lot of people still recommend them today.

I haven't ever made use of any domain services, so i don't know if this is accurate but i've heard GoDaddy is one of the oldest domain host or service out there.

i do not think that knowing the oldest domain service matters a lot as the paramount concept should be working with a domain that actually works well for your website peculiar need

I think GoDaddy is the oldest, from an article I read in the past. Age of the domain name provider should not really matter though, it's their efficiency that's necessary for their users

The oldest domain services are Network Solutions, which was founded in 1979, and Register.com, which was created in 1994. Both offer a variety of services, including domain registration, web hosting, and other services related to domain management. Also, both of these companies have been around for a long time, so they are known for their reliable and secure services

Go daddy established in 1997 and ipage started in 1998 are some of the oldest web hosts still in operation. However, I have not tried these companies I use namecheap and it was started in 2000

The first domain name ever registered was symbolics.com on March 15, 1985. It was registered by the Symbolics Computer Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced computer systems.
