On most forum software, there's feature to view the "new and exciting" content, as it were. This is new content that you may not have viewed, as well as new content that you might be interested. Here on Xenforo forums we have the "What's new" button, and on other forum software it can also be identified as the "View New Posts" button. Do you use this feature often?

Personally I click this feature on larger forums like the xenforo community forums, as well as AdminForums, however for smaller forums like mine, I don't really do that.

I always use it, it is nice to see the thread titles all in one place because I like to ensure that I can actually get into a topic so it is nice to be able to read a little of the OP before entering. :p

Me neither, the icons of the forum show what is new and what is old, but there is a button in our navigation bar that shows all the "new " posts since your last visit to the forum.

Its a combination of both the 'alerts' and 'what's new' for me. I hate to open every forum and check for new posts. Instead I could just open a page and click on something that's interesting.

I always use this, I find it a good way of checking posts I may have missed over night or when I have been out. Sometimes I check by each section though, it just depends really. :p

If I am a regular member in a forum, I will click on the what's new button, otherwise I will simply goto each every sections manually and check for any new interesting threads!
