What was the first thing you did on the internet?

When was the first time you ever got to try out the internet? What was the first thing you did? For me, I remember having America Online, or AOL to start off. Remember the whole days of dial-up internet. Fun times haha! But I remember going on AOL for the first time and feeling mesmerized. I remember going into the chat rooms back then and remembering how cool it was I could talk to people all around the world in chat rooms. I don't fully remember the exact first thing I did. I assume I tried to find some flash game sites. But I don't remember what options we had in the early 2000s.

I did the same thing. My brother had to show me how to do everything, I was one lost girl.
I learned how to look stuff up, like questions, or even photos, like clip art and paintings.
And of course, email. I started emailing random people, just to do it.
It was all so exciting and new. I remember thinking, this is like an electronic letter 💌 in an envelope, being sent by robots.
😮😂 And the person gets it instantly. No waiting for the mailman. Then why are they taking so long to reply? 🤔
Because they're sick of you and your stupid emails. That's why.

If I'm not wrong, I used to search for car racing games which used to come online. Similarly, I used to search for aeroplane games. Small miniclip games used to come in the search results which I used to play during my initial childhood days using the internet.

I think I found games and joke sites when I first started actively using the internet, and then I eventually discovered forums and have been actively using them for just about two decades.

I used the internet for the first time in 2000. The first thing I checked on the internet was a virtual greeting site called 123 Greetings. Then I went to MSN search and searched for random things.

The first thing I did on the internet was to download games if I remember correctly, I was a child and it was what I wanted to do at that time, It was difficult to find games back then and the download speed was very low, so it took me time to get it, but those were my first steps on the internet and my first interactions with different websites of the time.

I can very well remember that the first thing that I did on the internet was playing a computer game that was connected to the internet. I will never forget the experience of using a computer for the first time. After that, I started using it to download games, movies, songs etc. The internet have played a very big role in my life and still doing so today.

I didn't understand the smartphone at all when I got it, so my older brother told me everything and if I'm not mistaken, the first application I downloaded was Instagram and I wanted to add my friends as friends as soon as possible so that they would know that I also already have a smartphone
