Being sued is so common in big businesses. I think when this happens, you could try to negotiate with the suer to see if you can settle the case off the court. You should have a lawyer advising you during such a time.

If someone sues you, the first thing you should do is to consult your lawyer and the both of you should critically look into why did that person sue you and how to go about or resolve the issue

Treat the situation critically and acquire legal counsel as quickly as you can if you are being sued. To explore the specifics of the case and any legal defense techniques, you should speak with a lawyer.

But there are some times you can benefit from the law suit and turn it to your favor as there might be loopholes from the case that you can exploit as the law is very vast with so many technicalities.

I think the very first thing you should do is call your lawyer or get a very good one if you do not have already. Your lawyer should be the one to reply not you. He knows what to say to sort out the whole issue.

If someone wants to sue me then he/she should have a logical reason for that if he/she is right then I will accept it and try to change my approach, if not I have the right of appealing.

I would try to amicably settle the issue before going to court but if the issue persists I have no option than to contact my lawyer and make the necessary arrangements so that justice prevails.

how do you intend to be amicable with someone that has already initiated legal action against you, though i know of out of court settlement but you should not present yourself as the weaker side if not you might pay dearly for it.

Well, I think that there are many people who always try to settle things between them outside the court. It is a very common thing. However, when the dispute becomes serious, people usually rely on court's decision.

You are right, weakness is definitely a disdvantage in this scenario.
The best option is to settle the issue court since it appears like a form of confrontation.

Yeah, some cases are so mere that they can be resolved outside of court. That is what most people do. After all, court cases can be so expensive. But they are necessary if the case is a huge impact on business.

I am going to call my lawyer and make sure I release every information that will set me free from the guilt. I know it may not be enough but I will also be in prayer because some people can sue wrongly and still be judged.

Not every fight you should run away from, as this might return to hurt your personality or even your business, but before you enter into any fight make sure it is worth it.

In my dealing with people, I always avoid getting sue by people that I worked for or worked for me. Not because I'm coward but I don't like getting involved in legal tustle. However, if someone sue me, then I will have to hire lawyers to defend myself.

There are some battles that comes to you even when you are trying to mind your own corner and avoiding every form of problem those are the problems you should tackle head on.

First of all, you have to assess the case honestly and truthfully and see if you or your business has a fault. If none, you call up your lawyer to prepare to your defense. If you have a fault, I advocate for out of court settlements.

The first thing you should do is to respond to the lawsuit within the period of the summons. Next is, you gather evidence being relevant information and concrete non falsified proofs for your defense. It might be significant data that you have in possession which can turn the case to your favour. Then you seek out an attorney for legal advice. And finally, attend the court hearing

The best thing to do when someone sues you is for you to look for a very good lawyer that can fight for you because you cannot just look and hope for things to be alright
