Supply chain is one of the most important factors when it comes to selling products. The fact of the matter remains that supply chain consists of many different factors that may help you sell a product in a much more efficient manner. Supply chain is a complex process that involves various aspects related to the procedure that begins from product manufacturing and ends with the product ending up in the hands of the consumer.

Well the supply chain needs to have enough product to ship out. If the product chain is low on product, or has none, than the marketing is pointless. I mean not pointless, but you need to make sure the supply chain doesn't dry up, at least not out of the gate. Does that make sense?

I think that supply chain is a huge process and it depends on many different aspects. Supply chain refers to a huge link between businesses and suppliers that enable this process to work in a better manner. Supply chain is very important for customers and for the company as well. So, supply chain could possible play a huge role in the corporate world.

The effect a supply chain have on business is something that is always devastating whenever each section of the supply chain is not working effectively, it is always going to affect the rest of the supply chain and which the final consumers are the last aspect that are going to suffer in the end because of inadequacy of a section in the supply chain.

I do not think the supply chain has anything to do with the marketing. Marketing is very different from supply chain. Let's say you buy goods in bulk and sell per unit. You will be ordering your products from suppliers and suppliers will get you products from the manufacturer. I do not see the role of marketing here.

Customers will want to have the products that they pay for at a designated time and this is the work of the supply chain to make it happen.

Running a business includes understanding the needs of your customers as well as their wants. So, making prompt delivery is a way to make more customers in the business.

You are very correct with this assessment because there is no relationship with marketing in business supply chain which I can also see as well. Marketing is a big different thing on its own which is only applicable to the station that is selling whatever product they already have in their business pot after working with the supply chain.

I think that even though both of these things may sound different, they both are related to each other in an indirect manner. Students who are taught supply chain management learn a lot about marketing and i think that it is a very important part of the supply chain. marketing increases the chances of increasing supply chain promotion.
