What makes a good forum?

Yeah, in you opinion what all stuffs make a good forum?
I guess the uniqueness of the contents is one important thing!!

Good Administrator ( - the asslick) - But generally good Mods and Admins, who are ACTIVE.

Evidently, the developments i've seen here are far more better than what i have seen on other forums.

I can tell you one thing - It just requires more freelancers who like to dab in all sections and come back to recall.

First impression is key for me so I look at the theme, content and daily activity of the site. I want to be joining an active community and not one where I will be the only one online.

Aswell as those things I like a site to be unique, something that will entice me in and keep me active. Having friendly staff is another thing I like to see in a forum and a domain is not a must but it shows commitment that you are actually willing to spend at least some money on the site.

Friendly members, that's the most important thing for me. Nobody wants to be a member on a forum where the members are utter arseholes.

Any forum where the community is enjoyable and doesn't have admins that make horrible moderation mistakes and/or silence user's opinion.
