What made you become a forum owner?

For every decisions we make in life there is something that inspires us to make those decisions. So as forum owner I wonder what motivated you to start your own forum and how has it been going so far.
Could it be that you enjoy the way people interact on forums and the diversity of ideas and topics you have on the forum? This is what made a popular forum owner I know start his own forum.
