What is your favorite forum promotion method?

Social networking is fun, and I personally am a fan of posting on forums as a form of promotion

I find Youtube a really easy way to get visitors to your forum. I am starting with my new forum (it only has 2 weeks), and what I basically do is upload videos with a watermark. This watermark contains the url of my site. If people like my video and want more from where it came from, then they will visit my forum. What do I do to get views? I simply pay for Youtube views. There are hundreds of gigs on Fiverr. How can it help? It gives your video popularity, and if your video is popular Youtube will place it high when people make a related search.

So, basically when you pay for fake views, in the end you get a lot of real views to your videos. And that's how Youtube works for my site.
