You can add a forum on your wordpress by using bbPress plugin. These are just few examples.

Well, WordPress stands out as the CMS of choice when it comes to blogging. On the other hand, when it comes to forums and community boards, Xenforo is my CMS of choice.

You are right. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, WordPress is the best for both levels. It comes packed with advanced features and many plugins that makes it to be on top of the list. Besides, it seems to have dominated the CMS space, because all the others have either some complication, or they are just designed for specific niche, like ecommerce.

To be honest I find that it can be very difficult to manage the content that you have on a website and therefore I find it quite commendable that you are able to do it on various different websites simultaneously and it shows that you have the necessary skills in order to do this which can be very helpful when it comes to employment opportunities later on.
