What is the most you would pay to have a website designed for you?

I have considered this. I am not sure if I would have enough to pay for what I want.. lol
Also, Not sure who I can trust. Is hiring a web designer something you would do? - if so, how much would you be willing to spend?

I would pay someone $300 to design a website with all the bells and whistles.

As a web designer, nothing. I would design it myself.

Otherwise it would really depend on the project size. I'd be ready to pay up to a couple grand if its well designed and well developed.

Mostly design, a little bit of develop. I know my HTML, CSS and PHP but Javascript is lacking.

Ah gotcha! I'm still working on HTML and CSS. I prefer designing graphics.

I would say $1,000 and let's just say that everything would need to work.

The most I would pay is 100$. I do know CSS and HTML so I should be able to do most of the design. I may need to hire a developer but that's the most I would pay, but it would depend on what they were prepared to do.
