What is the lowest rate you have charged for articles?

When I was new to online writing, I have written 400 words articles for just 50 cents. That was on Helium Marketplace. I could retain my ownership but I did not have copywrite on the article. Later, I was paid better and I started earning $2 per article. That was back in 2012. Recently, I was working as an in house write for a site and I was receiving $4 per 400 words. Lowest I can go is $1 per 100 words if the topic is easy.
