What is the difference between fundamental analysis and technical analysis?

Fundamental analysis and technical analysis are two different terms many traders use when it comes to investing money in any kind of market. Fundamental analysis has much more to do with analysing the market value of a commodity and this may also include actual value. Technical analysis may involve how the price of the commodity has performed. So, are there any other differences as well?

I feel that is the major difference between the two. Fundamental analysis evaluates a company's financial health and performance to determine its value, while technical analysis studies past price and volume data to forecast future price movements.
