What is some of the worst advise someone has given you?

Like the topic asks. What is some of the worst advise anyone has ever given to you?

For me, I was having some problems with my neighbors at a house I no longer live at and a guy at work told me to show them a gun if they ever came onto the property. I knew it was horrible advise the moment he said it. That kind of advise could have landed me in prison if I were dumb enough to follow it.

So, I ran a ponzi/pyramid scheme once years ago. It should be around 2016/2017. I know it's illegal to run a ponzi scheme but honestly I never had any intentions of stealing people's money and disappear. One of the ladies who helped me to set up the pyramid scheme came to me one day and suggested we crash the system and go AWOL. I couldn't do it, I had to shut her down immediately!
