The term "franchise rights" basically refer to rights of a franchise. Such kind of rights may play a really huge role when we talk about the legality of any kind of business. This also allows the franchise to conduct the business in a legal manner, as it constitutes many different kinds of legal aspects. So, what is "franchise rights"?

A franchise is a joint venture between a franchisor and a franchisee. The franchisor is the original business. It sells the right to use its name and idea. The franchisee buys this right to sell the franchisor's goods or services under an existing business model and trademark.

What franchise rights you get as a franchise depends on the terms and conditions set by the franchise owner. However, in most cases, the franchise can use the branding to improve sales and for using the brand the franchise will pay certain fees, the fees can be one time fees, or annual fees depending on the terms set while siging the contract.
