There are many different kinds of customers who may prefer different kinds of brands. For example, many people may prefer McDonald's over Burger King. However, on the other hand, there may be so many people who may prefer Burger King over McDonald's. This is what brand preference is all about. Having said that, how can this have an impact on business?

When you want to drink soda, do you ask for coke or pepsi, when you want to buy athletic wear, do you buy addidas or nike? The brand you choose is your brand preference. Businesses try to build loyal customers so that they can constantly sell their products to the same people again and again.

What I understand by brand preference is my choice line if I want to buy any product. If I'm into buying products based on brands, I will choose based on the brands which fulfill my needs and interests. This is what I know brand preference to be.

Customers are biased when it comes to brand preferences. They will always find a reason for picking a brand ahead of the other no matter how much superior features that the other brand may offer. So, at the end of the day, it is all about what the customer is trying to achieve, picking a brand ahead of the other one.

Yes, there are customers who can be picky with product's brand they are going to purchase. If they doesn't meet all the criteria of interest for them, the products will never be purchased.

Every customer have what they already decided on buying before going to the market or looking through online stores for what they are interested in buying. This is the reason why you have to ensure that there are varieties of products that you are selling. It's what's going to increase the chances of your customers picking out one of them and paying for it. I believe that this is exactly what brand preference by customers is all about.
