So, what do you think of merging websites? Do you think it's a good idea to promote activity in the new website, this way? I am sure most of the time, same niche websites are merged. So, what are your thoughts on this?

Do you think most of the users would leave a website if they come across such drastic changes? Or do you think it would make them more active as they could meet new users from the other website?

As for me, I don't know much about the after math of a merge. I have been thinking of acquiring some anime niche related websites to merge, but not sure how long that would take. So, I need some tips here. Thanks in advance

By merging two websites, you can absorb the top performing and top converting content from the acquired site into your own - this requires that you redirect visitors looking for content that used to live on the retired site to the most relevant content on your site.

Well i have seen allot of sites which tends to merge there site, which is obvious, why because they earn allot of money in there both site from Google, but only pays member once per task.

I don't also know the after math of a merge. I feel it depends on the websites being merge. it might make the website more active since users from the two websites could meet themselves.

It's better if sites will compete against each other, than with competitors, because, in the second case, overall market share will be completely different.

I have not done this. However, I see a lot of websites being merged to create even bigger community. I remember Bizdustry was also merged with a couple of websites.I think this is a good way to create bigger community. But you might have to pay for websites that you want to merge with yours.

Merging two websites can help to promote activity in the new website, provided that the merged webpage contains fresh and engaging material. Additionally the merged site could also be promoted through different channels such as social media, search engine optimization and other marketing activities. These activities can help to raise the visibility of the merged platform and attract new viewers. Finally, the merged website should also possess an easy-to-use interface and a well-designed user experience in order to keep people engaged and coming back for more

I have never really thought about this because it would take away my flexibility which I can not trade as my website is like my world to help people in dissemation of information and merging would take away that flexibility.
