I've been hearing about quantum computing for a long time, and I've seen some documentaries about it and I find it simply fascinating what computers will be able to do in 20-30 years, but how do you think computers will be in 100 years? What do you think computers could do? What do you think their calculation speed will be?

I think they'll be much of the same. I mean to be fair, PCs haven't changed drastically in the last 50 years, at least in terms of how we use them. We still utilize a screen, mouse, keyboard, and it's been like that probably since the 70s or early if I guess. I think what we'll have is slimmer monitors, ones that may even be see through. Also, I can see people using VR or AR to do their day to day computing. Like how that Apple VR that's coming out. But it'll be much cheaper and affordable down the road.

Computers get better and better every year. Tech keeps advancing and we keep finding new ways to branch off to even better devices.

You are right in the visual aspect, we use the same peripherals and accessories, but if we talk about the processing time and speed of computers there is no point of comparison for example to those of the 70s, In my case, for example used my first computer at the beginning of this century, and there has been a brutal technological leap in just over 20 years, the processing speed and what a computer can do today is far above those of that time.

I think they will be very different from what we have now. Maybe they will be embedded in our brains or bodies and maybe they will be smarter than us. The AI also can be integrated and can automate things like safely overclocking PCs. They will be more energy efficient.

How about we become living, talking and walking computers? Honestly, it's only a matter of time before computer is deeply ingrained into human body. With AI and robotic stuffs, we are getting closer to that than before.
