R. James, the Chelsea fc captain, has battled injury this season. He has been out for more games than the ones he's played. This was almost the same story last season.

Do you think it is high time Chelsea signs a new player for his position or keeps depending on him?

If a club is serious about competing for titles, they are meant to have player back up in every vital position in the team. What I'm trying to say it that Chelsea should have signed another back up player for R. James.

Reece James is just 23 years old but he is constantly suffering from one injury to another. This is something that is not good for the career of any footballer because it is eventually going to make the person to retire from football sooner than they should.

This is exactly what happened to Eden Hazard and that was how his career was wasted when he moved to Real Madrid. It is also something that is happening to Anthony martial in Manchester United. This interrupted his progress as a footballer.

Reece James is a player I like to watch a lot. His incredible skills, confidence and swagger fused him into this unbelievable player he is now. As for the injuries, he will get over it. Though his bulky body type may pose problems, in due time he'll figure it out and learn how to keep his body away from breaking down. These things take time. He'll get a hang of it.

Having constant injuries is a very serious threat to any footballer's career and this is something Reece James need to look into in order to make sure that he is not exposing himself in a way that his career will be abruptly ended as a result of constant reoccurring injuries.

The truth is Chelsea's medical team had some kind of slump in the last two seasons, and that coincided with James injury struggles. The injury woes was so bad last that they had about 10 first team players out as some point.

Considering the fact that James was substituted with Malo Gusto against City at the peak of the match, it shows the club and the manager are trying to manage James workload so as to get him fully fit. He also turned down a chance to play for England during this international break to recuperate.

With those timely measures, its only a matter of time before he's fully fit and firing once again.

Yeah, that's very correct. He's being very careful with trying to manage his recovery process because it wouldn't be in his best interest if he plays a lot of matches why he is not fully hundred percent feet. It will only cause his injury to reoccur again and reoccurring injuries are the worst. They will make you prone to that particular injury.

That already happened to him this season. When he started his first game after a long absence, he was playing very well only to pull up injured before the game ended. I think it was against Liverpool, first game of the season - though I'm not sure.

Naturally, Reece James bulky frame makes him prone to injury. He has a heavy upper body that leans a lot of weight on those legs. As time goes on he will understand his body a lot more and that will help him later in his career. It's good he's having those learning period now, and not at a later time where his career will be at risk.
