What do you do when you run out of money?

You may encounter a situation where you may run out of money during certain times. You may run out of money at a supermarket or any shop. Dealing with such kind of conditions could be a big challenge. When faced with such kind of situation, what would you do?

When I run out of money, I will sell my assets, mainly, my crypto assets to manage my finances. As a freelancer, I frequently run out of money and I end up using my emergency funds.

Sometimes, it is only poor planning that will make me to run out of money. I can't find another reason for it unless we are talking about when I am unlucky to misplace a particular amount of money and I was now stranded at the place that I went to. If it is that situation, I will definitely call a friend to send me some money as I will pay back later on.

Personally, I don't see myself getting in such a situation because of being extremely disciplined with my savings and investments.
