Content Creation What are your methods for remembering ideas you have for content when you are away from your PC?

Something I always used to struggle with when it came to coming up with ideas for content on my websites was remembering the content I had thought of if I was away from my PC.

It always frustrated me that I would think of something and then by the time I had gotten home, I couldn't remember what it was for the life of me. Nowadays, I tend to use the notes app on my phone and write them down whilst I am out so that I always have them there to go back to.

What methods do you use when it comes to remembering content you come up with when you are away from your PC?

I tend to write it down on a note on my phone if it's really good.

I use my phone's notepad to jot down ideas that struck on my head when I am not at home. However, when I am at my home and I am working on my computer, I use my computer's sticky notes to write down ideas. Sometimes I also jot down ideas on a paper note pad.

I create a 2Do entry on my phone with a reminder set so I don't forget it.

I periodically come across some great web articles, and usually there's a way to save the article or webpage.

For general thoughts and ideas, Ive definitely forgotten some great ideas over the years. I think of a lot while driving and totally forget by the time I get home 🤦

I'll write my ideas down on the note app on my phone if I'm away from my PC. That way, I can easily grab my phone and start working on my ideas as soon as I'm back on my computer and I don't have to worry about losing a piece of paper.
