I think that a director is a person who manages all the affairs at the upper level in a company. A director is responsible for all the decisions that are taken by the company. and then forwarded to CEO and the CEO takes the decision. So, what are some of the basic duties of a director of any kind of company?

Directors are in charge of managing the firm's strategic goals and regulations, keeping track of how well those goals and regulations are being implemented, and making sure the company complies with all applicable laws.

The duty of a director in a company or organisation is that he or she is the overall head and handles all the affair of the company , he sets goal and target to be met and makes sure he meets with the appropriate department in order for the goals to be acheived .

I believe a director can be said to be the manager of managers in a company. One of the duties of a director is that he or she sets the overall goals of a company and makes sure that such goals are achieved.

The director of the company will Direct the workers including the managers on how he wants the company to go. He Is just like the general overseer of the company

Director's position is something that a company does not actually need because there is a CEO who looks over everything and a manager who helps the CEO. A director is just a position for the business owner.

A director is a person who is a member of the board of directors. He represents the board of directors in the organization. The board of directors represent the shareholders. So, a director represents the board of director. That means indirectly, he represents the shareholders.

In a corporation, a director's responsibilities include overseeing operations on behalf of the shareholders, making important operational and strategic decisions, acting honestly and responsibly, acting in the company's best interests, and acting with good faith.

The bulk of the work is on the director's desk. He or she is tasked with the role of making sure that activities of the company are run smoothly with less hitches. If there are moments that he feels difficult decisions should be taken, he can consult the board of directors before making such a decision.

It is not actually every business that have a director which is why I believe that any business that have the position of a director in it means that it is a very big company. They are the ones that work directly in hand with the company's chief executive officer.

Not all companies may have directors. However, there are many corporate companies that may have many directors and they all form a "board", which is called "board of directors". Directors of a company may have many powers because they are senior officials and executives of a company. They have the right to manage managers and other employees as well.

There are many duties which a company's directors are in charge of in any business. The very important one's are the following ;

1. He's the one in charge of maintaining relationships with clients, partners and other stakeholders in the company's business.

2. He's also the one who supervise, mentor and manage a small group of managers in the company.

All public company is legally required to have a board of directors that is going to manage the whole business activities of the company. This is not something that is a must for a private or non-profit companies but in a situation whereby they are going to need something similar, they will have to appoint one that are going to help to govern the business operation.
