From what i understand, social media marketing has to do with the use of social media as its primary source of advertising, while influencer marketing has to do with the use of someone or something that has the ability to sway the minds of the people to achieve their goal.
 
Social media marketing involves a lot of things from video marketing, running ads, content monetization,, building groups, etc. Influencer marketing is also social media marketing but is involves building followers to get sponsorships
 
Well I think social media marketing, has to do greatly with how to used the social media platforms in othet to promote your business among different computing business around you. while influencer can be just like to post your vedios going live on the media.
