There are many traders and many merchants who have a really harder time analysing the actual market value of a commodity. For example, many trader claim that silver is underrated and it may perform well in the future. So, what are some of the best ways to analyse the actual value of a commodity?

Assessing supply and demand dynamics, geopolitical variables, economic indicators, and market sentiment are all part of determining the true worth of a commodity. Key techniques for determining a commodity's true value and making wise investment decisions include fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and keeping up with current events on a worldwide scale.

It's not difficult to analyse the market value of any commodity because with the chart of the commodity in your face, you will see the value. If Gold is higher than silver, you're going to see it visible in the market value chart. There's no extra work needed to know their value.

It's trading view that I always make use of when it comes to analysing and evaluating the market value of any commodity. I have used some broker's chart but they don't give me everything that I needed, that's why I strictly use trading view.

I think one of the best ways is to try to analyze the institutional purchases of these commodities, for example a few months ago the central banks and many countries were loading up on gold, so we can intuit that in the future there will be some shortage of gold and the price will tend to increase, the same can happen with other commodities, If we only do technical analysis we will not be able to know what can happen in the long term.

Studying demand and supply of those commodities will provide the information on how the price might be within a period of time. If there's a shortage in supply, there will be more demand with less commodities to sell. Those who stocked it will have control over price.

For the commodities that I have invested in currently, supply and demand dynamics, economic indicators, and market sentiments are more than enough to influence their worth. It's like what's happening right with inflation as an economic crisis, commodities prices have been hiked but that doesn't mean the value appreciated.
