Were you trusted in childhood to be the main organizer of Christmas or any other holiday?

I wouldn't say that my parents trusted me very much when I was a child, but when they got sick, I had to prepare the house for some church holiday, because we had to have guests. I don't think they were thrilled, but they had no choice. I think that it turned out great for me because I was 13
