Weirdest tech inventions

What would you consider to be some of the weirdest tech inventions? I think growing up, I always thought those little HitClips were kinda dumb. I mean the idea to have a little chip with a song on it, was kind of cool for the time, but the quality of the song, and the fact it was just one song, wasn't appealing to me. I guess it was interesting, because you could in theory create a sort of mixtape with all the HitClips you could get. I remember there was a lot of pop stuff, like Britney Spears, N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, Who let the Dogs out by Baha men was the one I had lol.

But yeah, what are some weird tech inventions you remember?
