Website Pinging. Does It Really Help To Get Your Site Indexed Faster?

I came across a few of those sites that claim to ping your website, so Google and other search engines know that your site is created or updated. They claim that this service will make Google and other search engines index your site faster. I personally think that when it comes to SEO every little thing can help.

I believe that these sites can help your new site to get crawled faster by search engines. But what about you guys? Do you really think these sites are helpful at all? Do you use them?

Pinging will help search engines to find your content. But wordpress like platforms does that automatically. So not a big deal.

But there is an awesome use for these things.
If you have built lots of backlinks recently say around 100, you can use bulk ping services to index those backlinks. Just give the links to pages where you have created the backlinks in the bulk pinger and ping it. That way you will get the backlinks indexed fast.
