Heya!

I'm looking for a new job and I decided that finally finishing my personal (one-page) website (and 'branding myself') would be a great start. Hope you guys like it. (please don't mention my domain or whatsoever in this topic)

The website still has to be developed, though (it will include css animations and it will be responsive). Oh and if you happen to know me and have something to share about me for the 'What other people say' section, feel free to do so (by PM). :yum:

Wow, that looks awesome Mace! I especially love that you added in a section for customer feedback. That's something a lot of companies lack today, and I don't understand why.

I don't know how close to done you are with it, but it would look good with some header navigation tabs that can scroll down to a desired part of the website. It would also be cool if you added some basic pricing to the homepage.

Good luck! :D

Thanks so much, John. Yes, customer feedback is something I'd like to see on more websites, which is why I decided to add it. I mean, I could try and sell the world myself, but - in my opinion - it's best to let your customers speak.

I might add some basic pricing later, but I don't really have set prices (which is why I left the section out for now) - it all depends on the project and the specific desires of the customer. That's also why I prefer people just contacting me and telling me what they're looking for, so we can discuss a good price together.

Oh, and regarding the navigation scrolling down: the 'Let's talk!' anchor will scroll you down to the contact area. Should be more fun to scroll though, seeing that css animations will be implemented!

The website is now in development. It should be online soon (I'll showcase it once it's done!).

Ah, sounds cool on the pricing. I guess it's different for every customer. That makes sense not to list pricing if that's now you do it. Although a "Starting at" type price might work well.

The CSS animations sound cool. I'm excited to see the full website!

Maybe it would, yes. :) I might just look into that in the (relatively near) future.

Great to hear that you're excited to see the full website, too, John!

I cannot wait to see the website @Mace! :D The site itself and the business cards are simply amazing, modern, yet simple, but still eye catching. Blue is a wonderful color to work with, so many different shades you can work it and it's appealing pretty much everywhere. Perfectly done I must say. ;)

Thanks (again). I really appreciate your comments, Thomas! I was indeed going for something 'not too complex' - I like websites that are straight to the point and not too cluttered. :)

And yes, I love blue, too. I just got a new house and there will be blue leds, haha!

Oh nice. :O Once I get a house everything would probably be some kind of blue LED, the house would probably be blue itself as well. xD

And yeah, complex and busy websites just do not do any kind of good for you, and the load times are atrocious. xD

Indeed. Haha.

And yeah, you should definitely do that! Blue leds rock. I also have an ambilight TV, so it'll be awesome. Cannot wait until I'm done with the walls and floor! :p

I think a side panel navigation bar, just a little one that doesn't fill the entire screen height, would be a interesting touch so people can scroll directly to what they intend on reading.

Other than that though, I must agree with everyone here and say it's a remarkable mock up of the website and business cards, very professional and simple, I haven't seen websites like that for a while, and it's even cooler that the business cards match! Not many companies do that!

Like I said earlier, I might just implement something like that later. I'm not sure yet, but apparently it's something people actually would like to see added so I'll look into it! :)

Anyhow, thanks so much for your comment - I really appreciate it and I'm glad you like the designs! :) And yes, matching business cards are a 'must' for me, haha. I think people receiving the business cards before visiting my website will really like how the cards match the website, too!
