What is your policy on warez on a forum? Do you allow it? Do you encourage it? Or is it 100% against your rules? :)

On most of the sites I've been involved with, they just stick a load of them into the premium section; quite a good addition and gives people a nice incentive to pay for premium.. TTG have a tonne of warez in their premium section, and it's one of the main reason why people buy it.

I would say here, we don't allow it. Whilst I understand how widespread the problem is, we don't really wish to get into any legal complications. Thats my stance anyway.

This^ I wouldn't recommend it for any sites to offer on their sites.. It causes more harm than good for the owners.

If you're using Google adsense anywhere on your site, using or allowing warez is a very risky move. However, if you are earning money from premium subscribers, it might be worth it to cut the Adsense cord and just let your premium users monetize the site.

I really hate it when people with enough money download warez. I know a lot of people who do.
For example, google play, a lot of my friends have credit cards and all but still won't buy any of those games or anything they use. they simply download the pirated ones. If they want to try it out or simply they don't have money, it doesn't bother me.

So I don't like to host warez stuffs.

Warez is... I don't think it belongs on a forum. If you want to pirate something go find a site or torrent, a forum is just to chill and build up a community. Sure Warez would be a nice feature for some, but it just over complicates things.

It is against my policies on my site to discuss, publically, anything related to warez
Basically what Shadowslight said.

I seen many forums add Warez site to their VIP section and the site doe get very popular. I guess it depends on what he owner wants, an active community or money. If it is active community then they will do something along the lines of "You must have 100 posts count to access VIP" or they can make it a paid section. But I don't really see the point in that considering there are warez sites all around us.

Anyways, back to topic. I don't allow it whatsoever.
