If you are ready to learn how to make money online, then you have come to the right place. In this article you will find tips and tricks and great information that will help you master the art of web design.

If you are creating a website, make sure you view your site in different browsers. What you're seeing on your end may not be what others are seeing on theirs. You want to know about the different popular browsers and approach web design accordingly. Before you decide to go live, you should always have others using different browsers and operating platforms review your site to verify it works on different systems.

Don't overuse graphics. Although graphics are necessary make your site project a professional, well-designed and cohesive look, having too many can make it look cluttered. Graphics are not for decoration or ornamentation. Instead, they are to help you improve the overall appeal and usability of your site. Having the right graphics improves your site all around.

Do not work with pop-ups. Nothing is worse that going to a website and being bombarded with pop-up ads. Many people will close a site immediately if it uses pop-ups, even if it's a site run by a well-known brand or company. Avoid annoying your customers, by staying away from these irritating advertisements. If your web host forces you to have pop-up ads, try to find another web host.

Avoid excessive use of pop-up windows. Even though you may find a reason to have them, your visitors will find them annoying. A user who is constantly closing pop-up ads is more likely to look for information on a different site without endless nuisances.

Make sure your site navigation is simple, well-maintained, and transparent. Navigation links are important for visitors to stay on your site. The navigational part of your website should allow users a great experience.

You should create a useful 'About Us' page Add some autobiographical information to share with visitors. Make it a little more exciting! Try giving people a tiny peek into your personal background. Try showing how you got into web design, who inspired you, and what you hope to accomplish with your business.

Make sure that the font you are using looks professional, and is easy to read. A site that uses classic fonts will look more professional. Don't use handwriting or comic fonts as most people won't have them installed. If a person doesn't have a font on their computer, the browser might render the site using the default font (generally Times New Roman). When the font defaults it can tend to make your webpage look much worse than it really is.

Do not clutter your website by using every square pixel of space that you have available. Using every pixel available to you can make the website feel overwhelming or cluttered. Leaving a sufficient amount of space in between the various elements on the webpage however, can give your visitors a more comfortable experience. Sometimes, empty space is just as vital as actual content.

Do you now feel comfortable with web design? Just try to apply the information you learned here so you can hone your ability to design websites.
